Trees in the forest

Some days, it is hard to see the forest through the trees.  I’m so wrapped up in filtering through the DJ tapes these days that I need reminders as to the big picture.  I get so focused that when I look up I need to ask, "Where am I now?"  It can be difficult to ascertain the distance traversed.  I suppose this is one of the hazards of such a large project.  Getting lost in the components of the whole is at times necessary because without each of those parts there wouldn’t be such an awesome collective.  There’s only a forest with a bunch of trees surrounding each other.  And, what an awesome “problem” to have- so many cool people and topics to work with!
